Other Ways & Times to Give
Can Collection
All year long, we collect aluminum cans and redeem them once we have a full trailer. Way to give: Bring full bags of aluminum cans to the front doors of the church. They will be picked up from there.
Cemetery Clean-Up
Confirmation students, their families, and all those who are interested annually clean our church cemetery, usually in April or May.
Grubby Sunday
We occasionally have Grubby Sundays. Following worship, we each take a task such as washing windows, cleaning lights, or scrubbing toilets.
Pie Auction
The annual Pie Auction is usually held in April and benefits the children and youth programs of the congregation. Ways to give: Contribute a pie or other desert, canned good or a hand-crafted item. Bid on an item.
Produce & Bake Sale
The annual Produce & Bake Sale is usually held on a Saturday morning in early September in the parking lot of Bremer Bank to benefit the Women's Fund. The women's fund provides cleaning supplies, coffee and kitchen items, and other items as needed to the church. Ways to give: Contribute garden produce or a baked good, hand-crafted items or books. Come to the sale!
Time & Talent Survey
We all have gifts and skills to share! To indicate how you would like to share yours at St. John's of Cedarbrook, please fill out a Time & Talent survey. Completed surveys can be returned to Pastor Sarah. We are grateful for your generosity!
